Dentures are generally made out of Acrylic Resin. Other materials are available and in certain circumstances are not economically repaired. This material needs constant inspections to ensure the denture fits accurately, the bony anatomical features of the mouth. When a denture starts to rock side ways or backwards and forward a stress is produced. Since dentures need to fit the mouth in order to transfer chewing pressure to the supporting bone any resulting rocking will introduce a impact fatigue factor into the chewing action. Eventually this produces a failure or fracture.
Advice DO NOT TRY TO attempt to FIX IT YOURSELF.
You will end up making a mess of it and will end up being cheaper to have a new denture, rather than the expense of a having it altered to fit your mouth.

DO not attempt to use superglue or any type of adhesive as it is saliva soluble and will break again destroying the joint. Any repair attemted will make the technicians job difficult and they will not be able to guarantee the fit of the denture as it was when first fitted.
